Dr. Nick immigrated from England as a child and grew up in Burlington, before moving to Georgetown, Ontario.  After an undergraduate degree in Physical Education (Kinisiology) from McMaster University in Hamilton, and an Education degree from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Dr. Nick worked as a high school phys. ed and science teacher for six years.

As a competitive athlete  (former national wrestling champion and provincial team rugby player), Dr. Nick suffered a serious neck injury.  Like most lay people at the time, Dr. Nick tried a gammit of unsuccessful therapies to remedy his injury.  It was then that he discovered the power of chiropractic.  After 6 years of teaching, Dr. Nick decided to go back to school to become a doctor of chiropractic himself.  He enrolled at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1996.  He graduated in 2000 achieving Dean’s Honour Roll accolades during his studies there.

Since 2000 Dr. Nick has been practising human Chiropractic in Sutton, Ontario.  He runs a busy office at Sutton West Chiropractic.

As an avid animal lover he became interested in animal chiropractic and explored this option as a way to combine his love of chiropractic with his love of animals.  He traveled to Dallas, Texas to study at the Parker College of Chiropractic to earn his certification in animal Chiropractic.  He is currently one of a small percentage of Chiropractors in Canada certified and licensed to adjust animals.

Since 2003  Dr. Nick has been adjusting not only horses and dogs but also cats and a variety of other quadripeds.
